I can't formally retract the erroneous 2.0 I gave this back in 2018, but I can say that, five years on, I've come around to this record in a big way. Quality death metal with great atmosphere without being "atmospheric" (read: boring) metal.

US Black / Death Metal. Another brain child of the extremely talented artist Naas Alcameth. This is seriously good destroys anything in its way! The music goes from BM blasts all the way to a near funeral doom with a ton of atmosphere & back again. The entire thing is haunting as hell from the first to the last note. I think it is time for a new album! It has been six years already... :) Highly recommended!!!

An unbelievable intersection of talent and ambition. This is one of the most impressive records in modern death metal and the sheer scope of it is absolutely fucking mind-boggling. Certainly not for the faint of heart given that it's a triple album, but every second is just magic- and the presentation of the box set is absolutely amazing!
